Drat. I read a review that said Music Rescue worked with the new 2nd generation iPod touch but alas … at least on WinXP Home, Music Rescue, downloaded today, doesn’t recognize the iPod touch.

Sorry I didn’t notice this for a while – for better support, please visit our official support pages at http://kb.kennettnet.co.uk/.

Anyway, Music Rescue does support 2nd generation iPod touch. Make sure you’ve opened iTunes and let it ‘see’ the iPod before you try and use it with Music Rescue, or it won’t work. Also, try just unplugging it and plugging it back in while the “No iPods Found” Music Rescue window is open.

Hi – we were recommended to use Music Rescue by the Apple shop, to get photos off my son’s ipod touch after he lost them on his computer due to a virus cleanup. But I can’t get iTunes to see the photos. It sees other graphics and pics but just not his photos.
